Chirag Foundation has tied up with leading hospitals and has so far helped 30 poor children in their battle against cancer. Chirag foundation has organized several free cancer detection camps in densely populated areas to educate people about Cancer and help early detection of this deadly disease and aims to invest in research and making a databank so that children who are free from cancer can lead a healthy and a happy life, said President - Advocate Atul Batra.

Sudip Sahu – Parent of a young Cancer fighter said,” It’s a day of hope and triumph for all the young survivors. Fighting cancer is a battle and one needs to be positive. I thrived after my problems and today my child is a  winner, celebrating life. Awareness is the key, if more parents are aware and speak about the disease, thousands would be motivated that there is a life after Cancer and their kids can lead a normal life.”

Deepak Wadhwani – Vice President said, “ The foundation was born out of the first-hand experience of witnessing my young brother Chirag go down fighting like a warrior. When we lost Chirag, we felt helpless, sad, angry and very alone in our loss. We needed someone or something that would heal our wounds, help us remember Chirag fondly and convert our loss into something positive and meaningful and we feel absolutely blessed… by supporting each brave kid”

Piyush Prakash â€“ Chairman said, “It is important to celebrate this day because we need to spread awareness about the disease and that it is curable. Organizations like Chirag are changing lives by bringing hope to children and their loved ones with their life-changing research and heartfelt support program. To the thousands affected by cancer each year, Chirag Foundation is like a superhero bringing the little hope they have into their lives.
