Another interesting first time showcase will be the worldâs leading theatre mask specialist, Berlin based Familie Flöz who will showcase their inimitable brand of visual family comedy, Hotel Paradiso with four actors, 29 characters, no words, loads of laughs to Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai as a Diwali bonanza in October.
2016 will also see Dr. Satyabrata Routâs directorial venture in the form of a brand new production titled Reth- Songs of The Sand which will be a classic tale of friendship, love, deceit, values and morals. Set in modern day India, the enriching masterpiece is an adaptation of the bards much appreciated play The Merchant of Venice. The play will be staged in November.
Another production titled Man-Cepation which is a rip roaring dual stand-up comedy featuring Ashwin Mushran and Kavi Shashtri will be debut in November. An interesting tale from zero to sixty.
Come December, The British West End theatrical sensation, STOMP that been touring over 25 years in 53 countries will make its presence felt in Mumbai with its unique combination of theatre, dance, comedy and percussion inspired by the commotion of everyday life. The act that has churned accolades at the Academy Awards and Olympic Games, will make its debut and hammer out that explosively feel good rhythm.
