Dalmia Cement Ariyalur Plant Receives FICCI Safety Award 2014

CHENNAI: The Ariyalur plant of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited in Tamil Nadu has been honoured with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) 'Safety Systems Excellence Awards 2014 for the Manufacturing Sector'. Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon'ble Minister of State for Labour and Employment, presented the award to Mr. Mahendra Singhi, Group CEO Cement, DCBL. Dalmia Cement bagged the first prize in the large scale manufacturing units category.

Dalmia Cement was adjudged the winner amongst 28 companies that participated in the evaluation. The selection was based on a three-stage rigorous process that involved application evaluation, on-site audit and final selection by the esteemed jury.
