DELHI: The newly-launched book on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled "21 Leadership lessons of Narendra Damodardas Modi" unveiled by the Union Ministers of State, Jayant Sinha and Babul Supriyo at FICCI on Feb 3, 2015 is a forceful and eclectic narrative bringing together the political and social threads of any individual's acceptance by his extended constituency initially and by the world at large eventually. This book has a structure which pleasantly reinforces its substance and develops the idea of a 'unified' and 'interconnected' whole. The authors Nitin Agarwal, Vijay Jhindal and Pankaj Sharma have done an interesting study of the charismatic and inspirational leader of the modern resurgent and assertive India.

As the authors themselves pointed out when they started the book writing process: "The biggest challenge for us was defining the realms of leadership and discovering traits of leadership." The book has stories and examples of 21 world leaders who embody and exemplify 21 traits of leadership like, Clarity of Vision, Perseverance and Determination, Humility, Inclusion, Trust, Communication, Patriotism and Initiative, which are reflected in the work ethic, life and philosophy of Modi himself.

People always get attracted to the charisma and vision of their leaders and emulate their mission and ambition to become part of their stride. The book "21 Leadership Lessons of Narendra Damodardas Modi" is full of examples of great leaders who were the by-products of chaos and challenges of the society, and emerged victorious in leading the society

Nitin Agarwal is an award-winning social entrepreneur who turned down a lucrative corporate career to contribute to the social sector. Through his foundation 'National Association of School Professionals', he is bringing about a fundamental shift in the way children are educated in our country. His previous venture 'Chakhle India' was a pleasant change in the way food was consumed and served on Indian roads. Vijay Jhindal  

A qualified CA equipped with an LLB degree, Vijay Jhindal is a multi-faceted individual who served as an RSS Pracharak for more than six years right after his education. While he was serving as Pracharak in Faridabad, Shri Narendra Modi was in charge of ABVP in the state. Thus, he got a chance to observe him closely and was greatly influenced by his working style, especially his outstanding organisational skills. Mr Jhindal is also a serial entrepreneur with successful forays into investment banking, real estate, media, entertainment and agriculture.
