Champions Group Donates Land to its Tenured Employees

PR Newswire | 04 Jul, 2014
BANGALORE: Champions Group, in association with Strategic Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd., under the highly able mentorship of Subhakar Rao Surapaneni, has donated land ranging from 5,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet.

This facility is exclusively for its tenured batch of employees who have clocked in more than 7 to 10+ years of productive and active service. The property is a first-of-its-kind eco property, which is surrounded by a pristinely unexplored area near Bangalore.

This is a pioneering initiative in India for Champions Group employees who make the organisation stand where it is today and have made it till here through exceptional customer service.

Champions Group, a leading business conglomerate diversified in multiple divisions of businesses like digital, experiential travel, real estate, data digitisation and marketing, cloud analytics, and retail, among others, has now taken 'Employment Engagement Initiative' to the next level through this benevolent initiative.

This is indeed a commendable initiative that resonated with the channel partners who were present at Champions' Group half-yearly rewards and recognition program, when this initiative was made public.

Boopesh Reddy, CEO of Bren Corporation and the Chief Guest at 'Champions Half-Yearly RNR', opined that this employee engagement initiative will not just motivate employees, but also make them more phenomenally productive at work.

Prajwal Viswanath, PR Spokesperson of Champions Group, said, "Employee engagement or rewards and recognitions are a generic activity happening in corporate circles, but this noteworthy initiative taken up by Subhakar Rao Surapaneni is the satisfaction of Maslow's theory of transcendental or elitist needs in every one of us, and we are lucky to have a staunch mentor like him."

Hema Malini Nidamanuri, Co-founder of Champions Group, said, "Every concept has an initiation, but Mr. Subhakar Rao believes in stoical implementation and that is what moves us."

"However, our rewards and recognition initiatives are not a very new concept, and we have always recognised our employees that have gone the extra mile when at work, time and again," said Colonel Govind Rajulu, the company's Chief Operating Officer.

Subhakar Rao Surapaneni, Chief Mentor of Champions Group, said, "With Champions' employee rewards and recognition initiatives, we want to make not just our employees - the think tanks - feel special, but also their parents feel proud about their progeny being able to contribute to niche value-based equity for the conglomerate."
