SABIS® Signs on as Platinum Sponsor of Building Future Education India

MUMBAI, India: SABIS®, a global leader in providing high-quality educational services, is committed to improving the standard of education worldwide. As such, the global education management organisation has signed on as Platinum Sponsor of the Building Future Education India conference.

SABIS® will showcase its world-class educational services platform at the upcoming Building Future Education (BFE) Conference on "Modernizing Education to Create Tomorrow's Workforce" held from the 5th to 6th of April 2012 at the Leela Kempinski Hotel, Gurgaon (NCR).

"SABIS® is proud to contribute to the discussion on raising global education standards and to extend its knowledge and expertise in education to others," said Amy Wesley, SABIS® Corporate Director for Marketing & Communications.

Under the theme of Modernising Education to Create Tomorrow's Workforce, the BFE India calls attention to the need for dramatic education reform, perceived by experts worldwide as necessary in order to meet future needs.  And yet, many experts understand that the required reform is too immense for any single sector to tackle alone.

As part of its involvement in BFE, SABIS® President Carl Bistany will deliver the keynote address on the role of the private sector in enhancing education on the 5th of April. Drawing on the organisation's extensive experience, Bistany will also take part in a panel discussion, "Rising to the Challenge of Educational Reform," where he will have a chance to share some of SABIS®'s experiences in public-private partnerships as well as provide an assessment of other viable options to improve India's education standards.

SABIS®'s public-private partnership (PPP) projects in the US, UAE and Kurdistan have enabled the launch of countless schools that are providing high-quality education to students who may not have had access otherwise. This impressive feat and the organisation's successful track record in PPP projects have earned SABIS® the role as a regular collaborator with governments, business communities and industry leaders as they work together to create an effective and efficient vehicle that addresses the challenges of modernising education.

"At SABIS® we believe the basic role of education is to prepare students to be functional and productive in the world in which they live and to provide them the tools which allow them to keep pace with change while remaining functional and productive throughout their lives," commented Bistany.

Sanjeev Khaira, Managing Director, BFE, organisers of the event said, "SABIS® is a key contributor in educational reform and advancement and we are delighted they are using BFE as a platform to share their expertise and insights to accelerate educational reform."

Building Future Education India, held at Hotel Leela Kempinski on the 5th to 6th of April 2012, features two parallel tracks addressing the key issues facing the K-12 and higher education sectors over two days of keynote presentations, interactive panel discussions and peer-to-peer networking.

This high-level event will be attended by those at the forefront of the industry including vice chancellors, trustees, educational consultants, principals and senior government officials.

The conference programme will cover key issues such as the latest government and regulatory frameworks, innovative models of knowledge transfer, architectural planning for conducive environment creation, and community involvement.

The conference will be inaugurated by Shri Kapil Sibal, Minister for Human Resources and Development.

Attendees can register now at www.bfeindia.com
