DQE Signs Home Video Distribution Agreement

HYDERABAD: DQE, a leading animation, gaming live action entertainment and distribution company, announces that it has entered into an exclusive home video distribution agreement for DQE's 3D animated series with TIGA Entertainment co. Ltd ("TIGA"), a Thailand based company.

Under the terms of the agreement, TIGA has acquired the home video rights for "Iron Man- Armoured adventures season 1" in English and Thai for the region of Thailand. This five year agreement signifies DQE's maiden foray into the strategic and niche home video distribution market of Thailand.

TIGA has a comprehensive marketing business plan for 'Home Video Distribution' (HVD) for animation content in Thailand. TIGA is one of the leading HVD [companies in the region with licenses for home video distribution , broadcasting and merchandising for various animated properties including: Marked Rider, Detective Closed (Detective Conan), Hamtaro Hamtaro, Mask Rider, I Love Egg, Shiro Chiro, Mashimaro, Backkomgg, Amore Hero Armor Hero, Golden Co. Hero Golden Hero,Coco Rabbit, Prince Story (My Fairy Tales), Monsoon Coco Rabbit, Noukies & Friends, Banana in Pajaya , Paco Nouky & Lora from regions such as China, Japan, Thailand, Korea and selected European countries. Thailand continues to have a large and ever growing market for home video distribution and digital content.

The first season of Iron Man premiered in the USA on the Nicktoons Network on 24 April 2009 and started airing on the Canadian network Teletoon from 12 April 2009. The hour-long premier of the season broke Nicktoons Network's record of highest-rated original series attracting over 125,000 viewers.

Description of Iron Man:

The first season of Iron Man: Armoured Adventures was celebrated for its spectacular CGI animation and incredible action with Entertainment Weekly commenting Iron Man: Armoured Adventures contains "smart writing and stellar CG butt-kickery". The second season of Iron Man: Armoured Adventures will take the action and visual effects to the next level as Marvel Animation continues to tell the story of the exploits of Marvel's high-octane Super Hero, Iron Man. This exciting series introduces young Tony Stark, an heir to the billion-dollar corporation Stark International. After tragedy strikes, the teenage Tony begins using his suit of invincible armour and technical know-how to protect those who would also fall prey to tragedy, corruption and conspiracy! He is a new hero for the digital age, a mechanised knight in ever-evolving, adaptable armour. He is...IRON MAN!
