ROME: Venere.com - the European online hotel reservations specialist - reveals the results of the contest "Which is your fashion type?", launched in cooperation with The Mall - luxury and posh fashion outlet in the Tuscan countryside - which offered an entire weekend of shopping amongst the most exclusive labels including a free journey at AC Hotel and UNA Hotel Vittoria in Florence.

Venere.com asked European customers to choose a style that matched one of the designers present at The Mall. The results analysis showed a clear difference between the "fashion trends" of the largest countries in Europe.

Not surprisingly, Italians identified with the "Gucci" model, preferring a New York penthouse with terrace for their holidays (44%), a throaty Ferrari for prowling the Upper East Side and the Village: a glamorous look, elegant and carefully accessorised, always seeking unique but stylish outfits.

For the "Gucci" type, Venere.com suggests the Carlyle Hotel in New York - from EUR 351 http://www.venere.com/rosewood-hotels/new-york/the-carlyle-rosewood-hotel/

On the other hand, Germans and French preferred quiet holidays in a villa with a swimming pool (44% and 51%), where they could dress dressy casual with a strong catwalk influence, possibly at the wheel of a shiny Porsche (55% and 47%); the skyscrapers of Dubai, the pearl of the Arab Emirates have been the preferred destination of the "fashion victims" (58% and 63%) for some time now. All this perfectly matches the "Burberry" model, a sporty but elegant label, with the unmistakable check, a status symbol for the upper classes.

For the "Burberry" type Venere.com suggests the Habtoor Hotel Grand Resort & Spa in Dubai - from EUR 92 http://www.venere.com/hotel/dubai/habtoor-grand-resort-spa/

Last but not least, an unexpected 'strange couple' - Spanish and English - who agree on their style preferences, choosing a country castle (49% and 47%) maybe in the hills of Anacapri, above the famous Grotta Azzurra (65% and 59%). Between strolls along the cliffs towering over the sea and under the bougainvillea, the "Bottega Veneta" model would prefer the luxury of a Rolls Royce (40% and 44%).

For the "Bottega Veneta" type Venere.com suggests the Blu Capri Relais in Anacapri -from EUR 250 http://www.venere.com/hotel/anacapri/hotel-blu-capri-relais
