In the online B2B business, buyers expect a fast response to their inquiries. Unless you respond quickly, they might never bother with your business ever again. Studies conducted at different times, in different places show that slow seller response is the main complaint among B2B buyers. It immediately brings a seller's attentiveness into question. In most of the cases, prospective customers make no hesitance in taking their business elsewhere. In contrast, a seller who gives quick, quality response that addresses the customer's request holds the advantage.
Keeping this in mind, Tradeindia.com has added a new feature, 'Response Rate & Buyers Feedback', with which we can now keep track of the response rate of a seller based on inquiries responded promptly (within 2 days) in last two months. Here, a note of caution is that buyer inquires must be replied from MTI, not from a mail account. Otherwise, response rate will always be poor as system will consider that inquiry is not at all responded.
The Buyers Feedback part, on the other hand, is a rating based on buyers' feedback received by a seller on a scale of 1-5. As per the feedback both positive (thumb up) and negative (thumb down) icons will be shown. Sellers should take advantage of this new feature as it is always seen that buyers usually prefer to send inquiries to suppliers with good buyer feedback.
How will 'Response Rate & Buyers Feedback' benefit suppliers? The feature is designed to encourage them to give fast response to buyer inquiries. Small business owners usually have to keep themselves extremely busy every day and in that hurry some important buyer inquiries may be left unattended. Now the new feature will help them keep alert. In addition, earning a good Response Rate and Buyers Feedback will help them stand out and attract more buyers. I would like to suggest sellers to log in to MTI Daily and respond to buy inquiries as early as possible. Always reply to Buyer's specific queries instead of sending standard proposal and add good quality product pictures with specification detail.
We hope buyers also will find this new feature helpful as they will now be able to easily spot out sellers who will contact them as soon as possible, respond professionally and provide valuable information on their requirements. This way, the feature will also add to the ease and efficiency of Tradeindia.com as a platform to connect buyers and sellers, creating potential opportunities for both parties. I invite you all to go for this new feature. Your valuable feedback will help us make it more user-friendly.

Extremely useful article that was enlightening and makes one realize that if one is on specific online portal to sell then the initiative lies with him to quickly respond to the customer.
