YES Bank Wins the Coveted Golden Peacock Award

YES BANK, India’s fifth largest private sector Bank, has been awarded the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Sustainability, 2015 at the Institute of Director’s 15th London Global Convention on Corporate Governance and Sustainability held in London on October 8, 2015. The award was presented by the Rt. Hon Oliver Letwin MP, The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of UK to Ms. Namita Vikas, Senior Presdient & Chief Sustainability Officer, YES BANK.

Commenting on this achievement, Rana Kapoor, Managing Director & CEO, said, "Since inception, YES BANK has been at the forefront of mainstreaming environmental sustainability, leadership on climate change, renewable energy and value creation for stakeholders through innovative solutions. YES BANK was presented the award on account of its exemplary performance on three key parameters - Responsiveness of organizational strategy to needs of different stakeholders, Integration of sustainable development issues with corporate functioning, and Development of innovative partnership models to fulfill social responsibility. This award closely follows YES BANK’s win in the Golden Peacock ‘Environment Management’ category Award, earlier this year. YES BANK was earlier also awarded the Golden Peacock award for Environment in 2014, CSR in 2013 and Global Award for Sustainability in 2012.
