HCG Group, a trailblazer in the energy sector, celebrated the inauguration of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections in Palam Vihar, Gurugram. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Gajendra Singh, Member of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), underscoring the imperative shift towards sustainable energy solutions for a greener and healthier future.

Mr. Singh, advocating for the widespread adoption of natural gas, highlighted its pivotal role in enhancing convenience, comfort, and overall quality of life for residents. He commended HCG Group for its proactive stance in championing eco-friendly energy alternatives, aligning with national sustainability objectives.

Kapil Chopra, the Chairman of HCG Group, accompanied by Managing Director Rahul Chopra, unveiled the company's visionary plans aimed at significantly increasing access to sustainable energy in the region. Mr. Chopra announced the group's ambitious goal of delivering nearly 100,000 domestic PNG connections within the next year, with a steadfast commitment to extending this service to approximately 300,000 households over the subsequent five years.

Furthermore, Kapil Chopra emphasized that HCG Group is actively pursuing appropriate domestic gas allocation from the appropriate government bodies to facilitate the achievement of their targets. “HCG Group is actively contributing towards realizing the vision of the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to transition India into a gas-based economy. Our efforts aim to increase the share of natural gas from 6% to 15% in the nation's overall energy basket”, added Kapil Chopra.

Rahul Chopra reiterated the group's unwavering dedication to sustainable infrastructure development. He highlighted significant investments in creating a robust network spanning over 1000 kilometers in Gurugram, supported by a skilled workforce committed to meeting consumer needs across all segments. Additionally, the group pledged to invest over 500 crore rupees in Gurugram over the next three years to fortify infrastructure, including the establishment of 50 additional CNG stations, thereby augmenting the total tally to 90, and expanding the network by an additional 1000 kilometers.

The event culminated with the symbolic inauguration of 101 PNG connections in Palam Vihar, symbolizing HCG Group's unwavering commitment to pioneering sustainable energy solutions for a cleaner and healthier environment.
