Financial software company Gatelab -- part of London Stock Exchange Group -- has become an approved provider of risk gateway services for third party clients accessing the Bombay Stock Exchange, the premier bourse said on Tuesday.

The solution enables users to send orders to the Bombay Stock Exchange currency derivatives segment in ultra low latency, if all the pre-trade risk checks are met, BSE said in a statement.

"BSE has a proven track record of offering customers connectivity through high quality technology vendors and we are delighted to add Gatelab to that roster of firms," said Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BSE.

"Gatelab has a long history of delivering low latency front end solutions for a range of clients."

The statement added that flexibility and robustness enables Gatelab to offer its clients efficient and reliable risk gateways for any market of interest.

"We intend to expand our offering by adding more segments of the BSE and more markets in the Asia-Pacific region, reducing latency and increasing efficiencies for our customers," said Ferdinando La Posta, Co-founder and CEO, Gatelab.
