The capital is set to host "Rakhi-The Thread of Love", a one of its kind lifestyle exhibition where creative people from all over the world will present artifacts, jewellery and apparel.

To be organised by Purnam at The Ashok in New Delhi on July 10, the one-day event will see entrepreneurs from London, Karachi, Dubai as well as Indian cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Amritsar and Jaipur exhibiting exquisite home décor products, jewellery, gems, apparel in fabrics including chiffon and silk and delicate handicrafts among other things, said a statement.

"This time we are providing buyers the opportunity to get access to the best of lifestyle products from across the globe. This exhibition will set a precedent for the exhibition space in India with our long list of international participants," said Indu Gupta, co-founder of Purnam.

"We have tied up with Akshay Pratishthan, an NGO that contributes to the welfare of the less fortunate in society. A part of the earnings of the organisation will be contributed towards this noble cause," she added.

Purnam, which was conceptualised by volunteers of the NGO Akshay Pratishthan, works towards helping exhibitors define their ideologies while connecting them with a wider audience and customers.
