Dubai would host the Airport Show 2010, an event showcasing a wide array of hi-tech services and equipment related to the airport sector.

The show would be held April 25-27 and host equipment manufacturers from a number of countries including China, UK, Germany, Italy, Denmark, and Switzerland.

The equipment showcased at the event include aircraft servicing equipment, airport handling, docking and access systems, training solutions, automation and equipment for paperless cargo processing and recovery of aircraft.

"The growth in global air traffic and investments in the airport infrastructure, particularly in the Middle Eastern and South Asian countries, represent a huge potential for French companies," said Sophie Issovits, chief of airport projects at UBI France, organisers of the French pavilion at the show.
