Two and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto on Monday reported a four percent drop in its total sales for last month.

The automobile manufacturer's total sales last month stood at 384,400 units -- down from 399,450 in the corresponding month of 2014.

According to the company, its motorcycle sales during the month under review dipped by five percent at 330,228 units from an off-take of 347,010 units in September 2014.

However, the company's commercial vehicle sales rose by three percent at 54,172 units from 52,440 units sold in the like month of 2014.

The company's exports during last month marginally declined to 173,801 units compared to 174,211 units being shipped abroad in the corresponding period of last year.
