Eicher Motors on Tuesday reported an increase of 37.76 percent in its net profit for the quarter ended June 30.

The company's net profit for the quarter under review stood at Rs.183.56 crore from Rs.133.24 crore.

The company that owns brand like the Royal Enfield motorcycles' total income zoomed by 44.86 percent at Rs.1,100.55 crore from Rs.759.71 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.

In terms of the company's consolidated results, its net profit rocketed by 40.89 percent at Rs.221.83 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 from Rs.157.44 crore for corresponding period of last fiscal.

The consolidated total income during the quarter under review grew by 29.17 percent to Rs.2,923.48 crore from Rs.2,263.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014.

The results were declared after the market hours.

The company's scrip at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) gained 0.32 percent at Rs.21,336.55 from its previous close at Rs.21,269.45.
