Krishnapatnam Port, the world-class port on the Indian horizon, wins for the second time in a row, the prestigious 2nd South East CEO Conclave & Awards 2010 in the Non-Major Port category.

The award ceremony was organized by The Exim Shipping Times held in Chennai recently.

Krishnapatnam Port was felicitated in this category based on the parameters of Operational Performance, Infrastructure Development & Customer Satisfaction.

This is further proven by the 100% growth rate in volume throughput achieved by handling 16.1 Mn MT in FY 2009-10 vis-a-vis 8.1 Mn MT in FY 2008-09.

Krishnapatnam Port is just a two year old port and is already creating ripples in shipping circles around the world.

This has only been possible due to its skill of building and operating the port in a very high standard giving the utmost value to all its customers. Its belief in innovating, improving and adapting to the needs of its customers is the success formula in making it India’s biggest multipurpose port with an infrastructure and logistic setup of international caliber.

This is indeed a great honor and a strong validation of the port’s commitment to serve India’s growth. The port strongly believes that it will play a key role in driving the economy to great heights in the future.
