Experts from the Middle East will gather in Abu Dhabi next week to find out solutions to the water crisis in the Gulf region.
The Arab Water Academy will hold the "Water Leaders Forum" in Abu Dhabi July 11, which will seek to develop innovative ideas for a "secure water future in the Arab world", officials said.
The forum will "look beyond borders" to find solutions to water issues and explore how other sectors like energy and agriculture affect water in the region.
Water ministers from Iraq, Palestine, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen, and top officials from the World Water Council and the Unesco Institute for Water Education (Unesco-IHE) will attend the meet and discuss work on other fields such as energy, agriculture and finance.
